This bee seemed to be in some type of ecstasy, rolling around inside the crocus.

I'm in some ecstasy too. We just got back from vacation. On the trip home (the very long trip home)I enjoyed our "detour" through Oklahoma (don't ask) watching my favorite tree -- redbuds -- bloom along the interstate. I absolutely LOVE it when they bloom!
I have been planting redbuds on the edge of our woods for 15 years. Now they are seeding themselves. It is one of my favorite trees also. Did you know the buds are edible? I sprinkle them over a salad.
